EVM apps on native Bitcoin. No wrappers. No sidechains. No forks.
Your Solidity skills just found a new frontier: Bitcoin.
Tachi makes this possible, and for the first time, we’re opening it up to builders. It starts in Mumbai, with 40 of you.
About Tachi: It’s a Bitcoin execution layer bringing EVM programmability to native, self-custodial BTC.
This is Round 0 of the Tachi EVM Hackathon.
📌 $20,000 in prizes are on the line in the main hackathon. This round is your chance to get ahead.
🗓️ 5 Nov 2026, 4 PM - 7 PM IST
The Afternoon
Deploy an ERC-20 on Tachi’s Bitcoin Signet environment using the EVM SDK and a starter template.
Build with hands-on help from Tachi engineers
Find collaborators and demo what you made
What you get
Submit a working deployment during the session to earn your Round 0 Pass: priority admission to the upcoming main hackathon, early access to its themes, and dedicated office hours with Tachi engineers.
The best demos are featured in our “Built on Bitcoin with Tachi” series: https://x.com/tachi_btc/status/2107472774247956739?a=U7bjeb2qKXqKePrN4iQ&s=20
Bring a laptop and an idea, or come and find one. No Bitcoin project or experience needed.
How to join
Register below. There are only 40 seats, and we’ll confirm your spot by email. No deployment needed to register.
Once the SDK is available, we’ll send you a quickstart. Building beforehand is optional, but submitting a working deployment on Tachi gives you priority on the waitlist if the event fills up.
Everything runs on Tachi’s Signet test network with test BTC (available through the Tachi Faucet).
