TechMoran, the region's oldest startup news desk, is putting on the first edition of this: a one-day conference built around finding East African startups before anyone has heard of them. Entry is capped at companies under eight years old that have raised less than $2M, across AI, fintech, health, agri, climate, logistics and commerce, and nominations run through shortlisting and public voting into the December event. Worth going if you are early and want investors, customers and press in the same room. It is the first edition, so treat the programme as still forming.
