Estonia's flagship startup conference has run a Nairobi edition since 2023, and this is the fourth. Around 2,000 people, 900 startup reps and 200 investors from 50 countries, with a pitch competition, masterclass rooms, a startup demo area and a matchmaking space. Day one is a warm-up of partner side events plus an invite-only Investor Day, then day two runs the main stage. The founder ticket is deliberately cheap at a few thousand shillings, which keeps the room full of people actually building rather than sponsors, and the Estonian and EU delegations bring European investors who do not otherwise show up in East Africa.
