If you're building tech in Europe right now, you already know the questions on everyone's mind: Can we compete globally? Where's the real opportunity in AI, beyond the hype? What does it actually take to scale a tech company from here?
Join Developers Alliance, B/ACE Global (formerly DutchBasecamp) and Uncorn Factory Lisboa for an evening built for the people actually building: CTOs, AI/ML engineers, technical founders, engineering leads, and product teams working at the intersection of AI and European tech.
We'll open with a keynote from a recognised AI industry leader, followed by a panel on the realities of building and deploying AI in Europe - compute, distribution, talent, and the market conditions shaping what's possible, not just the regulation everyone talks about.
Then stick around: the evening continues with networking, drinks, and light bites, because the best conversations usually happen after the mic is off.
Agenda:
5:30 PM – 5:35 PM: Welcome by DutchBasecamp
5:35 PM – 5:45 PM: Opening keynote
5:45 PM – 5:55 PM: Welcome by Developers Alliance
5:55 PM – 6:20 PM: Panel discussion
6:20 PM – 9:30 PM: Networking, drinks & light bites
The Developers Alliance advocates on behalf of developers, the companies they lead, and the industries that depend on them. We help policymakers and stakeholders understand the specific needs of the developer workforce and advocate for policies that responsibly advance the broader tech sector.
B/ACE Global (formerly DutchBasecamp) helps tech startups scale internationally and connect with global innovation ecosystems through tailored programs, coaching, and strategic partnerships.
Unicorn Factory Lisboa is an initiative launched in 2022 to position Lisbon as a leading innovation hub. It supports startups and scaleups through incubation, internationalization programs, soft-landing services, and specialized innovation hubs. The initiative helped Lisbon earn the title of European Capital of Innovation in 2023.
