No slides. No prepared demo. You pitch the app, we build it start to finish in under an hour, and you watch every step. Most people still assume software takes a team of engineers and a few months. It used to. The tech has officially reached the point where one person with the right agents can go from a napkin idea to a working app in an evening.
From a loose idea to a live URL
We take an app idea from the audience and run it through two tools that make a deadly combination:
- Confabulator takes the loosely formed idea and crystallizes it into the foundational docs: what the app does, who it is for, the data it needs. Then it turns those docs into GitHub issues and creates the repo.
- Behalf.bot picks up the issues and builds the front end, back end and database, runs the tests, and ships it to a working URL.
You will see the wrong turns too. Unlike a polished, pre-recorded demo this "live cooking" session shows you the real-time reasoning and error handling mindset required to navigate the pitfalls of this style of development. You'll learn just enough vocabulary to express your goals and direct the agent to get what you want without having a background in software development. By the end of the night we'll have a first version of the app: an MVP that does the core thing running and usable.
What you will walk away with
- A concrete "built-from-scratch" app chosen by the audience. Access to a deployable Github repo that did not exist at 7pm, live on the internet by 9.
- The whole process, in order. Idea, requirements, repo, build, tests, live URL. You will know each step, what it entails and how it fits in the larger picture
- How to turn a fuzzy idea into something an agent can build. This is the skill that matters most, and it is tool-agnostic meaning this skill is the gold in a rapidly-evolving space where each week there's a shiny new tool to use.
- A clearer understanding of what AI agents can and cannot do today, the type of understanding that only comes experientially and that which can't be obtained from reading an article.
- The recovery moves. What to do when the AI gets stuck or goes off the rails.
- Answers to your own questions, including whatever is blocking a project you already have in mind.
- A next step that fits you. Try it on your own idea that weekend, or how to go deeper at the Mastery Weekend.
Who gets to build software just changed
For most people this is the first step into agentic AI, and you do not need to write code to take it. If an app idea has been sitting in your notes for years, come see how close it actually is. Bring your laptop if you want to follow along. Bring your stumper questions too. We spend the last stretch unblocking whatever you are stuck on. WHERE: The Clubhouse, a cowork community for founders run by Arun Thompson, Travessa das Pedras Negras 1. AGENDA 7:00pm Intros and idea pitches from the room 7:15pm Live cooking 8:30pm Q&A and unblocking 9:00pm Wrap WANT TO GO DEEPER? On 11 to 13 December we run the Agentic AI Mastery Weekend, a three-day crash course at DOMA in Mafra. You build software with these tools, and you also set up Behalf.bot as your own executive assistant and learn to delegate real work to it. Launching a side hustle is the vessel; the skill is building and operating with agents. Six places, applications close 3 December.
