During Web Summit week, RedBridge, THV and Globalfy are hosting a relaxed, curated evening for founders, investors and operators interested in building businesses, investing and creating opportunities across the Atlantic.

Whether you're a European founder looking to expand into the US, an American investor exploring opportunities in Europe, or an operator helping companies grow internationally, this evening is for you.

Expect good drinks, easy conversation and introductions that actually lead somewhere.

RedBridge is teaming up with Transatlantic Highway Ventures, who are bringing to Web Summit a group of fund managers and investors with hands-on experience building and investing across the Atlantic, and Globalfy, who help international entrepreneurs set up and run their companies in the US.

Two markets. Different mindsets. Shared opportunities.

What does it really take to build, invest and scale across the Atlantic?

How does venture mentality differ on both sides of the Atlantic? What makes the US such an attractive market for founders and fund managers? Where does Europe have an advantage? And what are the cultural, financial and practical challenges of expanding across borders?

We'll explore these questions in a conversation bringing together three speakers with unique perspectives:

  • Diego Sampaio, Co-founder & CEO of Globalfy, who helps international entrepreneurs build and expand their businesses in the US. Today, Globalfy is a team of over 80 professionals, serving more than 11,000 customers across 100+ countries.

  • Myrto Lalacos, Founder of The Emerging VC, LinkedIn Top Voice and former Principal at VC Lab, where she helped build what became the world's largest accelerator for venture capital firms. The Silicon Valley program she led contributed to launching over 60% of the world's new VC funds annually. She now supports emerging fund managers through The Emerging VC.

  • Sarah Antor, Managing Partner at Helena Capital, bringing three decades of experience across US and European capital markets, fund formation and growth investing, with a focus on scaling industrial deeptech companies across the Atlantic.

The conversation will be moderated by Pedro Coutinho, Managing Partner at Transatlantic Highway Ventures, a US venture capital firm dedicated to identifying, early on, Portugal's top talent building Agentic AI B2B startups and fast-tracking their presence in the US market.

But this evening is about more than the conversation on stage. It's about bringing people together, exchanging experiences and creating meaningful connections between the two ecosystems.

We're thrilled to welcome Globalfy as our partner for this event. Globalfy helps international entrepreneurs launch, manage and grow their businesses in the US, simplifying the operational complexities of entering the American market so founders can focus on building and scaling their companies.
