This time, we’re joining forces with AI.PT and AI Lisbon for an evening focused on what happens when AI agents move beyond demos and start interacting with real-world systems.
From turning the browser itself into an API to rethinking how AI agents should be operated, controlled and designed around humans, two speakers will share very different perspectives on what it takes to make agents useful in production.

19:15 — 🎤 Talk 1: The Browser is the API
Robert Berglund — Senior Software Engineer @ Riskified Abstract: Every new payment gateway used to mean the same thing for us: learn its API, map its payloads, handle its web-hooks, test it, and maintain it forever. Some gateways don't even offer an API, so for those the answer was a manual process. What if we could integrate with every gateway through one universal API instead? In this talk, we'll cover how we built an AI agent that uses the portal like a human does, and how onboarding a gateway went from a development project to a config entry. By the end of the talk, you'll learn how it works, what it took to run it unattended in production, how you can do it yourself, and where the line sits between what you let a model do and what stays plain code.
19:50 — 🎤 Talk 2: Please do not touch — Running AI agents like a museum runs a collection
André Gonçalves — Head of Innovation & Growth @ synvert xgeeks Abtract: A museum is an operating system for the moments that matter. AI agents will soon be as common as artworks, and just as dependent on what surrounds them. Museums quietly solved that before anyone said “agent”, so this talk is a guided tour: six rooms, a few incidents, and an exit through the gift shop. It borrows their answers with slightly more confidence than the comparison deserves, and ends with the question every leader now faces: Are you optimising for fewer humans, or for better human moments?
