Innovation UBC runs the HATCH venture builder and the university's spin-out portfolio, and once a month it opens its founder community up to the wider city. The room is women and non-binary founders, operators and mentors from inside and outside the UBC portfolio, and the format is deliberately small and conversational rather than a panel. Good for candid advice from people one or two stages ahead of you, and for finding mentors attached to a real accelerator.
