One thing we've noticed from the Founder Walks is that people don't seem to want to leave. People exchange contacts, make plans to meet again, and regularly stay talking for 30 minutes, an hour or longer after the walk officially ends. So we're trying the obvious next experiment: Dinner. We're bringing together 8 founders, entrepreneurs, builders and interesting people around one table for a casual dinner in Toronto. Nothing formal. No presentations. No speakers. No speed networking. No hard selling. Just good food and more time to actually get to know a small group of people.
Why only 8?
Because the point isn't to meet as many people as possible. With eight people, there are enough different personalities and perspectives to make the conversation interesting, while still being small enough that everyone can actually be part of the same conversation. The goal is simple: Leave having met one or two people you'd genuinely like to see again.
Who is this for?
You'll probably enjoy this if you're:

- curious about what other people are building
- interested in meeting thoughtful, ambitious people without the usual networking-event vibe
You don't need an impressive title. Curious beats impressive.

Please actually complete the application when you receive it—we read the answers and use them to put the group together. You don't need to write an essay. A couple of thoughtful sentences is plenty.
