📖 Full Talk Descriptions

The Builder’s Journey — Turning Ideas into Reality

By Guy Aga - Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist, lecturer, and Generative AI explorer.

How do you go from “I have an idea” to a real product, brand and business?

Guy Aga shares the journey of building Matar from scratch: transforming a book into a knowledge base, researching the market, developing and testing products, using generative AI to visualize ideas, 3D printing custom tools and accessories, and building a complete WordPress e-commerce operation with Claude Code.

A practical story about creativity, learning, experimentation and execution — and what becomes possible when AI works alongside human curiosity and craftsmanship.

The Builder’s Mindset — Becoming a Beginner Again

By Tali Despins - Builder, Claude Ambassador, Psych-Informed AI Adoption

Guy’s journey shows what becomes possible when one person is willing to move across disciplines, from research and product development to design, technology, and e-commerce, learning what’s needed along the way.

But what does it take to become that kind of builder?

In the age of AI, expertise alone is no longer enough. Increasingly, the advantage belongs to people who are willing to step outside what they already know, become beginners again, and combine ideas and skills from different worlds.

Drawing on developmental psychology, children, Nobel Prize winners, Nintendo, and James Cameron, Tali explores how we learn beyond our expertise, and why some of our most common beliefs about talent, difficulty, and identity can keep us from doing it.

Attendees will leave with a practical framework for developing the builder’s mindset: how to enter unfamiliar fields, persist through the discomfort of not knowing, and expand what they’re capable of without sacrificing depth.

The Builder’s Toolkit — Turning Curiosity into Action

By Amir Harel - Backend Developer; Symphony by Wix

Getting AI to build something is becoming surprisingly easy. The harder question is: how do you know if what you built actually works — and can you make it work again?

At Symphony by Wix, we build AI agents that do real work for real businesses. That means a successful result isn’t enough. We need to understand why it worked, turn what we learn into a repeatable process, challenge our own solutions, test them, and keep learning once they’re in the real world.

In this talk, Amir will take you inside one feature that started with a simple observation: when an agent creates real value once, how can we help it recreate that value again?

Through that story, we’ll explore a practical approach to building with AI: start with the outcome, build the smallest useful version, separate creation from evaluation, turn successful experiments into reusable knowledge, and create feedback loops that help you improve with confidence.

Along the way, Amir will show how these principles appear at scale inside Wix — from Claude Code and shared skills to reviews, tests, gradual rollouts, and monitoring — and how the same thinking can be applied long before you have an engineering team or a production system.

You’ll leave with a simple toolkit for moving from “AI made something” to “I understand what works, I can improve it, and I know what to try next.”
