The regional championship of Pegasus Tech Ventures' Startup World Cup, hosted in Hong Kong with InvestHK. Winners from the Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Thailand heats pitch head to head, and whoever takes the Asia title goes straight through to the Silicon Valley grand final and its USD 1 million investment prize. It is a compact afternoon in a Wan Chai coworking space rather than a stadium, which is the appeal: real judges, a short list of the region's strongest early-stage teams, and enough room to talk to them afterwards.
