Sea x OpenAI Codex Hackathon: Vietnam

Sea (Shopee's parent) and OpenAI bring their regional Codex hackathon to Ho Chi Minh City after Singapore and Taiwan. Forty teams of three to four spend one day at the Shopee Vietnam office shipping real software with Codex, then demo to judges and on stage, with OpenAI's APAC GTM director and Shopee Vietnam leadership as guests of honour. Prizes are 50k USD in OpenAI API credits (30k, 15k, 5k) plus a year of ChatGPT Pro for every member of the top five teams. The application window closed on 26 September and shortlisted teams were notified on 9 October, so this is one to follow or to get onto a team through, not to apply for now.
