Every founder has a story. Every startup has an idea. But sometimes, the fastest way to improve that idea is to put it in front of people who have no context, no filter, and no reason to agree with you. At Startup Unfiltered by Bizowl, we're doing something different. 🔥 We will pick 5 startups from the room to get “roasted.” Not personally. Not disrespectfully. Your startup idea, business model, positioning, assumptions, and approach will be put under the spotlight through a series of questions from the room. The goal? Challenge the thinking. Expose blind spots. Get perspectives. And leave with something useful. 🎤 How will it work? We'll select 5 startups to come up and share their idea with the room. You don't need a polished pitch deck. We'll ask questions like:
- What exactly are you building?
- Who actually needs this?
- Why would someone pay for it?
- What makes you different?
- How do you know this problem exists?
- What's stopping someone else from doing this?
- What is your biggest assumption right now?
- What's not working?
- If you had to change one thing about your startup, what would it be?
- Why should this startup exist?
And then we'll let the room ask questions too. 🥊 Five founders. Five startups. Zero sugar-coating. You might get challenged. You might discover a blind spot. You might completely rethink your positioning. Or you might realise that your idea actually holds up when people start questioning it. That's the point. Because sometimes the best feedback isn't: "Sounds great!" It's: "But why would anyone buy this?"
