As AI starts to explain almost anything, what is a classroom actually for?

AI is changing how we learn, teach and assess. Personalised tutors, instant feedback and generative tools can widen access to quality education, but they also raise hard questions about original thinking, equity and the role of the teacher.

This talk looks at what AI can do for learners today, where it falls short, and how schools, universities and educators can prepare for a future where learning is more adaptive and human judgment matters more than rote recall.

Also, the goal of this talk is to create an environment of dialogue and ideas in the room.
