Pre-seed founders get two to three minutes for a one-to-one pitch to investors, then a short Q&A, and the rest of the evening is drinks and introductions. Pre-Seed to Succeed is an investment programme run by four funds (AltaIR Capital, Yellow Rocks, Smart Partnership Capital and I2BF Global Ventures), so the people across the table are writing cheques rather than just attending. Applications need a pitch deck, and the Monday before Web Summit is the one evening in the week when European pre-seed investors are in the room together.
