No pitch decks, no name tags with titles. Just pickleball, food, and the people at Stanford who are building things.
Come if you are working on something, thinking about starting something, or looking for the person you would start it with. Half the group has never held a paddle. That is the point: mixed doubles, rotating partners every 15 minutes, so by 9:30 you have met everyone on the court.
How it runs
-
8:00 PM: arrive, grab food, get a paddle and a court.
-
8:15 PM: rotating doubles. New partner every round.
-
9:15 PM: paddles down. Quick round of "what I am building, what I need" for anyone who wants to say it out loud.
-
9:30 PM: done
Who this is for Current Stanford students and recent alumni across every school. Engineers, designers, GSB, med, law, PhDs. If you are looking for a co-founder, say so when you RSVP and we will make sure you rotate through the right people.
Bring Court shoes and yourself. Paddles and balls are provided. Food and drinks on us, courtesy of Antler.Antler is an early-stage VC that backs founders from inception, often before there is a team or an idea. Our residency gives tech entrepreneurs and operators the community and support to explore, build, and scale fast. Come say hi to the Antler SF team on the court.
