Exited founders are the group most likely to build what comes next: the next unicorn, the next cash-cow business, the next fund, or something nobody has a name for yet. And in between those chapters, we deal with a long list of hard problems that demand persistent effort. The best inspiration and solutions for those problems usually come from other founders who’ve been there.
That’s why PEF SF hosts a breakfast every First Friday of the month at the Vibe House. Good food, strong coffee, and the kind of conversation you can only have with people who’ve made the same calls.
This month
Two months left in the year, and a lot of us are circling a decision we’ve been carrying since summer: build again, scale what’s working, step back, or something else entirely. This breakfast looks at the year behind us and the one ahead. Bring whatever you’re still working out for 2027. You’ll leave with clearer thinking than you arrived with, and a few people worth following up with.
How it works
-
Arrive, grab a plate, find a seat. First half hour is open.
-
A short framing from Peter, then small-group conversation around the table.
-
A few minutes to share with the room, then we close. Out the door by 11:30.
No slides, no pitches, nothing to prepare.
Who this is for
PEF members who’ve sold a company and are thinking about what’s next, what’s now, or how to do it differently this time. Whether you’re mid-build, mid-scale, or mid-pause, you’ll be in good company.
Hosted by Peter Kovacs and Idan Levin, PEF SF Chapter Leads.
