The spine is the Hugging Face kickoff (Oct 16, The Midway), the ExecuTorch Hackathon at Founders Inc (Oct 17-18), the Debates on frontier safety and open vs closed models at GitHub's SF office (Oct 19), PyTorch Conference in San Jose (Oct 20-21) and the Open Source AI Awards (Oct 23). Hosts can submit their own events to the official calendar, so expect several dozen talks, workshops and meetups to accumulate. The best single week of the year to be in SF if you build on open weights.
