Dual use (same tech, commercial and defence or critical infrastructure) is the quiet wedge Canadian hardware and climate founders have started walking through, and VEF built the night around it with SFU VentureLabs. Doors at five for an hour of open networking, then startup lightning pitches, then a panel on founders selling into both markets at once, across cleantech, climate, life sciences, crisis comms and critical infrastructure.
