About AI School

AI School is a structured, hands-on education program designed to turn executives, operators, founders, and creatives into AI-native leaders. Built by eMerge Americas and Miami AI Hub, it goes beyond theory and focuses on practical, enterprise-ready application of AI, from core concepts to real automations, working apps, and agentic workflows. Every phase is outcome-driven, with live demos, real use cases, and portfolio-grade deliverables rather than passive learning.

Led by Burhan Sebin, Chief AI Officer at eMerge Americas, with guest speakers from AWS, Microsoft, UHealth, IBM,and high-growth scaleups and more.

Curriculum Structure

Phase 1 · Beginner · AI Foundations Master the tools, prompts, workflows, and automations that make AI part of your everyday work, then build and ship your first app with no code.

Phase 2 · Advanced · AI Agents Mastery Advanced vibe-coding, AI agents and multi-agent systems, evals and observability, safety and guardrails, and shipping to production.

Build the system. Test the system. Defend the system.

Prompting is only the beginning. The advanced work is designing AI systems that can retrieve trusted information, use tools, maintain state, coordinate work, and take bounded action, with evaluations, observability, guardrails, and human control built in.

Miami AI School’s Advanced Phase is an eight-session, build-first program for participants ready to move from AI user to AI system builder.

You will bring one real workflow and develop it from prototype into a controlled agentic system. Each session combines concise instruction, live demonstrations, hands-on building, testing, peer feedback, and practical operating rules.

The goal is not unrestricted autonomy. It is building a useful system with clear permissions, reliable evidence, defined stopping conditions, and a human accountable for the outcome.

What You Will Build

By the end of the program, you will leave with:

  • A working, complex AI application

  • An agent workflow connected to approved tools and data

  • A multi-agent design with clear roles, handoffs, and failure containment

  • An evaluation framework with representative test cases, graders, and traces

  • An observability and monitoring plan

  • A safety, permissions, and human-approval model

  • A deployment, rollback, and incident-response plan

  • A final demo that clearly communicates the system’s evidence, controls, limitations, cost, and next step

  • Guardrails and Production ReadinessAddress security, permissions, red-team scenarios, incidents, rollback, and human ownership.

  • Ship, Demo, and DefendDeploy a bounded system and defend its performance, controls, cost, limitations, and next decision.

Who Should Apply

This phase is designed for Miami AI School Beginner graduates or professionals with equivalent hands-on AI experience.

It is ideal for executives, operators, founders, product leaders, creatives, and professionals who already use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and are ready to build more capable AI systems around real work.

A traditional software-engineering background is not required. Participants should be comfortable learning by building, testing, debugging, and iterating.

Program Dates

September 14 through October 8, 2026

Eight hands-on sessions across four weeks, concluding with a final system demonstration.

By graduation, you will not simply be able to explain how AI agents work. You will be able to show one working, demonstrate how it was evaluated, identify where it can fail, and defend why it is ready for its next stage.
