Talk 1: Building For The Agentic Web With WebMCP
AI agents are starting to use the web on our behalf, booking tickets, filling in forms and comparing products. Today most of them do it the hard way, by reading screenshots and guessing at the DOM. It works until a button moves or a layout changes, and it leaves site owners with no say in how agents interact with their product.
WebMCP proposes a different approach. In this talk we'll look at what WebMCP is and how it differs from what's available today.
About Tara: Tara Ojo Agyemang is a Developer Relations Engineer on the Google Chrome team, based in London. After ten years as a software engineer, she now helps developers adopt new web platform capabilities in an increasingly agentic world.
