We are hosting a casual session for anyone interested in sharpening their skills for upcoming hackathons or just looking to connect with other local builders. Whether you are a student, a career-changer, or a seasoned developer, this is a low-pressure space to work on small technical challenges, swap project ideas, or find potential partners for future competitions. We find that the best way to prepare for a hackathon is simply by talking through problems with others who are also looking to learn.
The evening is intentionally informal. We will have some light prompts to help get the conversation started, but mostly this is about meeting people in the Long Beach tech community and sharing what you are currently working on. You do not need to have a specific project ready to go or a high level of expertise to join us; just bring yourself, your curiosity, and perhaps a laptop if you have something you want to show off. We hope to see you there, so please take a moment to RSVP if you can make it.
