KL20 is the government's bid to put Malaysia in the top 20 global startup ecosystems, so the room is built around three groups: founders raising, global VCs and institutional funds looking at Malaysian deal flow, and the agencies writing the cheques. Cradle, MRANTI, MDEC, Khazanah and KWAP all sit behind it. Registration is by expression of interest first, and the agenda lands closer to the date.
