A four-hour in-person session from Eligent Club combining a workshop, a panel discussion, networking and a startup pitch slot. It works through building a tech startup from concept to international markets: where to find and validate an idea, finding and testing a co-founder, MVP development and product-market fit, generating revenue from day one, bootstrapping versus raising, marketing and sales, common failure patterns from real case studies, and when to expand abroad.
Slava Baranovskiy, founder of Eligent Club and entrepreneur in residence at Brunel Business School, runs it. Free, 16:00 to 20:00 at Westminster Business School on Marylebone Road. The event is filmed.
The organiser moved this edition from 24 October to 7 November and extended the finish from 18:00 to 20:00.
Why go: the pitch slot and the four-hour length make it a working afternoon rather than a talk, which suits people at the idea stage who want their thinking challenged out loud. One speaker covers the whole arc, so expect breadth rather than depth.
