What is Saturday Club?
Saturday Club is a bi-weekly meet-up at Entrepreneurs First's office for people working or studying full-time, but are serious about starting a company.
It gives you dedicated time to build alongside a carefully selected group of technical talent, and a route to EF funding when you are ready to go full-time.
We invite people we believe could become exceptional founders. Continued participation depends on your commitment and progress, whether that means testing a partnership, building a prototype or speaking to customers.
Who is it for?
You are early in your career. Completing your studies or working full-time, and already know you want to start a company. You are likely an engineer, scientist, or someone who has developed strong technical skills independently.
You can commit at least 10 hours a week to building alongside your job, and you are ready to leave it if your company receives funding.
Why are we doing this?
EF exists to make great companies happen that otherwise wouldn’t.
Our cohorts ask people to commit full-time from the beginning, as we believe that is the optimal way to build. But financial obligations can make that leap difficult, and some people want to find the right co-founder before resigning.
Saturday Club gives these people a starting point and space to make meaningful progress. The expectation is that you use it to move towards building full-time.
What will EF offer you?
-
Potential co-founders: A carefully selected group of ambitious people, with structured introductions and sessions to help you find someone to build with.
-
Space to work: Access to our London office every Saturday, with breakfast provided.
-
Advice: An EF team member available to discuss your ideas and next steps. As you make meaningful progress, we can introduce you to an EF adviser for regular check-ins.
-

If funded, you will receive investment on EF’s standard terms, with the opportunity to build from our San Francisco office, prepare for a seed round and participate in an EF Demo Day.
