What makes people fall in love with a product?
Building software has never been easier. Ideas that once took months to bring to life can now be built in hours. But creating something people truly love is still incredibly hard.
As the barriers to building disappear, design becomes one of the most powerful advantages a founder can have.
Felix Haas has spent the last decade designing products and helping build companies from the ground up. At 17, he moved to Palo Alto to build his first startup. Since then, he's helped shape companies like Gorillas and Lovable, co-founded a design studio that was later acquired, and backed early-stage founders as an angel investor and Scout at Sequoia Capital.
Today, he helps lead design and brand at Lovable, where the team is making software creation accessible to everyone.
In this conversation, hosted by the Stanford GSB Entrepreneurship Club, Felix will share lessons from building Lovable and his experience working with founders, exploring how great design can turn an idea into a company people love.
What we'll explore:
-
From zero to one. How to approach designing your first product, what to focus on, and what to ignore.
