DevFest is a global, community-led tech conference series hosted by Google Developer Groups. DevFest Surrey 2026 brings that celebration of technology and community to Surrey, BC, for developers, builders and AI-curious professionals from across the region.
This year is all about hands-on experimentation. Through workshops, live codelabs, demos and talks, you’ll work directly with Google’s latest tools, including Gemini, AI Studio, Antigravity, Agent Development Kit, Firebase, Flutter, Android, Cloud Run and BigQuery.
Build. It’s never been easier to build. Go from idea to working app, agent or game with AI at your side.
Secure. What you build should be safe and secure. Learn to test, evaluate and protect AI agents before they reach users.
Scale. Take your work further with production-ready infrastructure on Google Cloud.
Sessions run from beginner to advanced, so whatever your starting point, you’ll find something to learn and something to build. The day closes with a networking hour to connect with speakers and the local developer community..
