Join builders from the San Diego Codex Community to hear what members of our community learned at OpenAI DevDay 2026!

Members of San Diego's builder community are heading to DevDay in San Francisco and bringing what they learn back to share with us. Alongside our community guests' recaps, we'll watch selected DevDay clips, ask questions, and compare notes on what the announcements could mean for our own projects.

Whether you're a developer, student, founder, or curious about building with AI, you're welcome. You don't need prior Codex experience or a trip to DevDay to join the conversation.

  • Time to share what you're working on and meet other builders

Space is limited! Let us know what you are building when you register to increase your chances of being approved or moving off the waitlist if we hit capacity. We hope to see you there!

  • 5:40–6:40 — DevDay recaps from SD community members & selected clips

  • 6:40–7:00 — Q&A & discussion

  • 7:00–8:30 — Networking & sharing projects

  • $100 in Codex credits and $50 in API credits to build with Codex & OpenAI models for checked-in attendees

  • Credits are subject to OpenAI's eligibility requirements and event check-in. They will be emailed to checked-in attendees after the event.

Photos and video

Photos and short video clips may be taken during the gathering to document attendance and create a post-event community recap. Attendees may appear in that recap. If you would prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please let the host know at check-in.

Parking

There is a parking garage on 30th and University https://northparkmainstreet.com/access-north-park/ that is inexpensive and a block from the venue.
