Stop guessing whether your product makes sense. Watch real people use it.
Most demo days are for showing off. This one is for finding out what's actually confusing, broken or brilliant about what you're building. You'll learn how to run a proper user test, then swap products with other builders and get hands-on feedback from your first 5 testers. No pitch deck and no polite nodding.
What happens
-
Crash course: how to user test (20 min). What to ask, what not to ask, and how to watch someone use your product without leading them.
-
Write your test plan. Turn what you want to learn into a few simple tasks and questions.
-
Swap & test in small groups. Take turns as builder and tester, so every product gets tried by about 5 people.
-
Wrap up. Leave with 1–2 things you'll fix, and come back next time to show what changed.
Who it's for
Builders working on consumer or prosumer products: apps, websites, landing pages, prototypes, even portfolios. Early, rough and half-working is perfect. Founders, indie hackers, designers and students are all welcome.
What to bring
-
Something people can click through, like a live link, a prototype or a build. Doesn't have to be done or perfect.
-
A charged laptop or phone
-
Thick skin, because you're here for honest feedback
When you register, tell us:
-
What you're sharing (add a link if you have one)
-
What kind of feedback you want most
-
Who you'd ideally want testing it
We'll use your answers to put you in a group with the right testers.
Not building anything yet? Come as a tester. You'll learn the method, see what others are making, and maybe find your next idea.
