Buatan Malaysia, Built for the World.
Most Malaysian founders start by sizing the market at Malaysia and building down to it. Colosseum's Crypto World's Fair is a four week window where that instinct is the thing most likely to cost you, because you are being judged against teams from every ecosystem and every market at once.
Come ready to work. You bring a prelim pitch deck (maybe from Startup Village Borneo) or a 1-slider on the product, a track (or more!) and a plan for the next four weeks. If you do not have an idea yet, come anyway. The fastest way to find one is to sit in a room where everyone else is describing theirs.
Semi has won Colosseum three times. Instead of talking about it, he will walk through one of his actual submissions, the deck, the demo video, and the parts he would cut if he were doing it again this week. Judges filter fast and most submissions die on presentation rather than on code, so this is the half hour worth showing up early for.
Colosseum runs to 12 October and this edition covers all eight ecosystem tracks, so whatever you are building on, there is a track and a prize pool for it. The accelerator, ten places at $250K each, stays Solana only. Every builder is locked to one team and one submission, which is why forming yours this Saturday matters more than it sounds.
What you will walk away with: a team, a track, a scoped four week build, honest feedback on your pitch from people who have judged these before, and a weekly checkpoint so you are not doing the whole thing in the last three days.
Lunch is on us. Bring a laptop and something you are willing to defend out loud.
