A meetup for developers and academics working on trustworthy AI, organized by local Claude Community members in collaboration with the YODA initiative at the Pioneer Centre for AI.Our aim is to move beyond policy debate into the practical and technical side of trustworthy AI, with the AI Act and other regulations in mind.
We want to create a space to share methods that make AI systems more trustworthy: tools that help us understand general-purpose AI models, expose their failures, or keep them under control.
Talks will cover practical implementations in industry, current research, and emerging topics in XAI. We also welcome thoughtful perspectives on how AI, its uses and its regulation are evolving. Each edition has three short talks:Research: a PhD student or early-career researcher presents their current work.Practice: an engineer shares what they built, what they tried, what worked and what didn’t.Opening: a current challenge in AI governance, such as the EU AI Act or GDPR.Talks are followed by Q&A and networking. No sales pitches.Programme00:00 Doors open00:00 Research: [Speaker, title]00:00 Practice: [Speaker, title]00:00 Opening: [Speaker, title]00:00 NetworkingRegistration requires approval, as space is limited.
