Australia's deep tech day, run by Cicada Innovations, the Sydney incubator that has been doing this for twenty years. Twenty three science led startups are picked from 200+ applicants each year and put in a room with the investors, corporates, researchers and policymakers who can actually deploy them. The 2026 cohort spans energy, health, space, defence, agriculture, robotics and advanced manufacturing. Cicada is explicit that it is not a pitch event: the program is built around deployment problems, so it is worth a day if you are building something hard or looking for founders who are.
