You’re invited to an inside view of AI’s next chapter.
Malaysia powers the AI boom. Be part of what’s built on it.
FirstCapital invites you to a closed-door gathering of founders, investors and business leaders in Kuala Lumpur. Meet the people building and investing at the US AI frontier, see AI doing real work, and explore where lasting value is taking shape.
From semiconductor testing and packaging in Penang to data centres in Johor, Malaysia is already part of the AI story. The next conversation is about the companies being built on top, and the opportunity for Malaysian industries and capital.
As we launch our fund in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, we’re bringing insights from the United States and, just as importantly, listening to perspectives from Malaysia.
Who it’s forMalaysia’s business leaders, family offices, investors and entrepreneurs shaping the decade ahead.
What to expect
Your industry, rewritten: how AI is reshaping banking, healthcare, manufacturing and more, and what is likely to reach Malaysia next.
Signal beyond the noise: an investor’s view of where enduring value is forming, with candid founder conversations and live demonstrations.
A sense of timing: what small teams and AI-native products can do today, and why understanding this shift early matters.
The conversations
AI in Financial Services: banking and Islamic finance are among Malaysia’s largest industries. A first-hand view of AI underwriting, servicing and new ways to invest.
AI in Healthcare: what AI means for a medical-tourism hub and a fast-growing private care sector, from insight to real-world delivery.
AI in Privacy & Security: as more of the world’s data is hosted here, trust, security and data residency matter even more.
AI Data Centres, Chips & Semiconductors: the layer Malaysia already powers, from Penang to Johor. Where does value form next?
AI Infrastructure for Building AI Companies: how AI-native companies are built with smaller teams, faster experimentation and products that deliver outcomes.
Topics, speakers and running order will be confirmed closer to the event.
This is a closed-door, in-person gathering with limited places. We’d love you in the room.
