c0mpiled, by Transpose Platform, is excited to host c0mpiled-16: UC San Diego, featuring Latted (YC W24) & Gutgutgoose (YC S26) ๐
Builders will compete for cash prizes, collaborate with talented students, and connect with YC alumni judges.
Join us for an evening of building, meeting driven founders, and turning bold ideas into real products.
Challenge: Invisible Interfaces
The best interface is sometimes no interface at all. This edition explores products that work through voice, motion, sensors, live data, autonomous agents, and other natural interactions.
Build technology that helps people or systems sense, decide, and act without relying on a traditional app or screen.
- Dispatch
Use live data such as ship traffic, flight data, fleet GPS, sensors, or border wait times to move physical things where they need to go.
Build for logistics, transportation, ports, emergency response, or defense.
- No App
Build for people who will never open an app, including seniors, drivers, nurses, warehouse workers, and field crews.
Use voice, phone calls, glasses, vibration, or another invisible interface. If users have to look at a screen, it does not count.
- Unsupervised
Build agents that run for hours without constant supervision.
Your system should know when it is stuck, overspending, looping, or when it needs to stop.
- AI-Powered Consumer Products for 1 Billion People
Build an AI-powered consumer product that reaches people through natural, ambient, or invisible interactions.
Rethink how people discover, use, and benefit from technology beyond traditional apps and screens. The strongest ideas will address a clear everyday need and have the potential to serve people at global scale.
