What’s one finance task you’d happily hand off to AI? Reconciling accounts, preparing month-end workpapers, or pulling together the same report again?

Join us for a beginner-friendly afternoon of learning and building with PromptQL. This hackathon is for finance leaders, accounting teams, and startup founders responsible for finance who want to try AI on work they actually do.

👀 See how we use PromptQL for finance

We’ll kick off with 30 minutes with David Kats, CPA, Assistant Controller at PromptQL, for a look at how he uses PromptQL in our own finance work:

  • Reconcile accounts and investigate numbers that don’t add up.

  • Prepare month-end workpapers and journal entries.

  • Collaborate with the finance team on reviews and approvals.

Bring your questions and pick up a few ideas for your own team.

🛠️ Then, it’s your turn to build

We’ll spend the rest of the afternoon building finance bots and apps together. Choose a task you’d like help with, team up, and see what you can make with PromptQL.

You might build:

  • A reconciliation helper that flags discrepancies.

  • A tracker for prepaid expenses or month-end close tasks.

  • A dashboard for financial reporting.

Have a different idea? Go for it. You don’t need to be a developer or have previous hackathon experience.

Bring a friend or coworker to build with, or come solo and meet others working on similar challenges. 🤝
