A decade from now, “AI for science” will just be called science. Hypotheses, simulations, experiments: AI is now touching every step of the loop. What does the next version of that loop look like?
This AI4Science evening brings together ML researchers, applied scientists, and engineers working on that problem directly: generative and foundation models for molecules and materials, closing the loop between prediction and experiment, and the gap between benchmark performance and results that hold up at the bench.
Expect technical talks from people building these systems, real failure modes alongside what works, and time afterwards to dig into the details with peers who work on the same problems.
🎤 Patrik Reizinger, Causality & Generalization AI Researcher, PhD at MPI-IS and ELLIS Tübingen, joins the evening.
🎤 Further speakers and agenda to be announced...
