AI4Science brings together engineers, researchers, and scientists building the future of scientific discovery with AI, spanning materials, climate, biology, and ML itself.

This edition will be a three-hour sprint on one of the hardest open problems in battery development: predicting how well a liquid electrolyte conducts lithium ions from its formulation.

Working with CALiSol-23, a dataset of nearly 14,000 experimental conductivity measurements across 38 solvents and 14 lithium salts, teams will build models that have to generalize to new chemistries they've never seen.

Hosted by Dunia Innovations, where these types of problems are run at scale in an autonomous lab, with a live leaderboard, a baseline notebook to start from, and prizes for the top teams 🏆
