It's never been easier to build an AI prototype, and never been harder to turn one into revenue. Pradeep Sankaran spent 8 years at Gelato, taking the company from a small team to a unicorn while leading an AI-native product all the way from idea to paying customers. In this session, he shares five concrete lessons from that journey: finding what customers will actually pay for, building at the edge of what today's models can do, turning AI agents into real team members, escaping the prototype trap, and becoming the builder yourself. Expect real numbers, what broke, what surprised him, and what he'd do differently.
