AI Security Hackathon — Build, Break, Defend
It’s Security Awareness Month. Less talking. More building. On October 22, we’re taking over Lisbon for an evening-long AI Security Hackathon — and the challenge is simple: Build something for AI security. Then prove you’ve built it securely. And yes, we’re making it competitive: the top 3 projects will win gift cards. Monitoring. Defense. Attacks. Detection. Guardrails. Agent security. Red teaming. Something we haven’t thought of yet. If it helps us understand, secure, monitor, test, or break AI-powered systems, it’s fair game. Come with an idea, find some teammates, open your laptop, and start building.
The Challenge You have until 8:30 PM to:
- Build an AI security-related project.
- Scan your project for code and open-source security issues.
- Submit it to the judges.
What you build is up to you. Surprise us.
Agenda 6:00 PM — Doors open. Building starts immediately. 6:00–8:30 PM — Build. Hack. Test. Break. Fix. Repeat. 8:30 PM — Submissions close. 8:30–9:00 PM — Judges review the projects. 9:00 PM — Winners announced + gift cards for the top 3 projects. 9:00–9:30 PM — Wrap-up.
