See how Austin trains the next generation of AI builders.

Join Gauntlet AI and The AI Collective for an evening inside one of the most intense AI engineering programs in the country, hosted at Gauntlet's Austin office.

Most conversations about AI stay at the surface. This event puts you in the room where engineers are trained to build with it. You will sit in on a Gauntlet class, hear directly from engineers building with AI inside marketing teams, law firms, and beyond, and meet the people shaping the local AI scene.

Gauntlet AI is a 10-week program that trains experienced software engineers to become AI-first builders, then places them in high-impact roles at hiring partner companies. Engineers train for free, companies get vetted AI talent, and both sides win. If you're an engineer and you want to catch up on AI, consider joining Gauntlet's upcoming cohort.

Featured Session: Where Expertise Starts: Field Notes from Embedded Engineers

Every team wants an AI builder who understands the work, but almost nobody has a playbook for creating one. This session skips the theory to talk directly with the people doing it. Our panelists are embedded today, building with AI inside marketing teams, law firms, and beyond. Some came up as domain experts and learned to engineer; others started as engineers and learned the domain. They'll share what they're actually seeing on the ground: what's working, what's breaking, how their roles came to exist, and what they'd tell a company trying to hire the next one. Expect candid stories, real disagreement, and practical takeaways for leaders and for anyone trying to become this person.

Featuring Matt Hulme (Gauntlet AI), with additional panelists to be announced.
