Curious about Hermes, OpenClaw, or what people are actually doing with AI agents?

Join us for another Gotong Royong with the Lorong Builds Community, this time centred around AI agents and agentic tinkering. Get up to speed, see what others have been experimenting with, then settle in and build alongside the community.

Bring a side quest, continue an existing build, or come with something you're stuck on. Lorong Builds facilitators and fellow builders will be around to troubleshoot and bounce ideas.

No prescribed build. No step-by-step workshop. Just come ready to experiment!

🛠️ What'll Happen

🤓 Get Up to SpeedA quick introduction to Hermes, OpenClaw, and AI agents: what they are, what you can do with them, and enough context to start playing.

👀 See What Others Are Dabbling WithQuick community show-and-tells from people experimenting with Hermes and related agent setups. Expect actual builds, comparisons, lessons, and probably a few things that broke along the way.

🧑‍💻 Co-Build / Open ClinicThen pick your own adventure. Work on your side quest, experiment with something you've just seen, or bring whatever you're currently stuck on. Facilitators and fellow builders will be around to help troubleshoot and compare approaches.

Got something you've been experimenting with too? Bring it along. Half the fun of Gotong Royong is seeing what everyone else has been tinkering with.

Important Notes

  • Bring a laptop with internet access.

  • Already working on something? Bring it along. You'll have time to continue building, troubleshoot and find others who may be able to help.

More About the Series

Gotong Royong is a traditional Malay concept whereby people living in a kampong (village) do things together and help each other in the spirit of goodwill and reciprocity.

This series brings that spirit to Lorong AI as we create regular opportunities for the Lorong AI community to tackle challenges collectively. When we learn, troubleshoot and build together, everyone progresses faster.
