One agent is slow. So run a swarm.
A single coding agent grinds through a repo one task at a time. But your repo has ten independent things that could ship tonight. The fix is parallelism: fan out N coding agents across N git worktrees so each works on its own slice, in its own isolated checkout, without stepping on the others.

The walkthrough. The conductor pattern. One orchestrator splits the work, spins a git worktree per task, assigns an agent to each, and merges the results back. Why worktrees and not branches-in-place, and how isolation per worktree keeps the swarm from colliding.

Fan-out, hands-on. You set up a swarm on a real repo. z.ai + Claude Code runs the conductor and the workers; Nebius Token Factory credits run the fleet of model calls. Multiple agents, multiple worktrees, one repo.

Merge and conflict handling. The hard part is putting it back together. Merge strategy, conflict triage, and when two agents touched the same file anyway.

When parallelism helps vs hurts. Swarms win on independent work and lose on tightly coupled changes. We name the line so you don't fan out into a merge nightmare.
By 10pm you have a setup that runs multiple coding agents in parallel on a single repo.
