Most people spend London Tech Week talking about the future.
We're ending it by racing through it.
To close out the week, Lumina House is taking over the skies for an evening of drones, competition, and engineering under pressure.
What to expect?
Participants will navigate a custom-built race course, testing speed, precision, and nerve as they compete head-to-head through a series of challenges. Whether you're an experienced pilot or have never touched a drone before, this is an opportunity to get hands-on with one of the fastest-growing areas of modern hardware.
During the event
Alongside the race, attendees will hear from experts working across robotics, autonomous systems, aerospace, and hardware, sharing how they entered the field and where the technology is heading next.
Technology is often experienced through a screen, drones force a different relationship. You feel every movement and mistake, causing a precision needed akin to that needed for a founder's life. The machine responds instantly, and the learning curve is immediate.
About Lumina House
Lumina House is a global residency for women working across technology, research, engineering and the creative industries. When women are absent from the design process, entire systems inherit blind spots. Lumina House exists as a response to that idea: creating spaces with rare talent density, with women who are actively building and developing the new infrastructures for the next wave of innovation.
