Official ODDfest 2026 Side Event
FiBAN × ODDfest, powered by Innovestor
Creative Capital Gathering is a curated side event of ODDfest 2026, organised in partnership with FiBAN and powered by Innovestor. Additional partners will be announced soon.
The event brings together people working across the creative industries and the capital landscape to explore one key question:
What does it really mean to invest in the creative industries?
In Finland, creative work is funded in many ways—through grants, foundations, angel capital, impact funds, venture investment, and public support. At the same time, interest in creative IP, experience-driven businesses, and cultural ventures is growing. But the logic of creative work does not always fit neatly into traditional investment frameworks.
Creative Capital Gathering is an invitation to explore this space together.
Why this gathering?
The event brings together invited participants from across the creative and capital ecosystem: investors, foundations, funds, public sector actors, FiBAN angels, and creative industry leaders.
The aim is not to create a pitching stage or a deal room. Instead, the gathering offers a thoughtful setting for different perspectives to meet—and for capital and creativity to better understand each other.
Together, we will explore questions such as:
-
What is investable in the creative industries?
-
What does investment readiness look like in creative fields?
-
How can creative ventures and capital better understand one another?
-
What kind of investment culture could support the next generation of creative companies in Finland?

About ODDfest & FiBAN
ODDfest aims to strengthen the creative economy by building platforms, programmes, and spaces for cross-sector collaboration.
Through its Creative Angels® initiative, Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN) works to build understanding, deal flow, and investor readiness around the creative economy—helping connect creative ventures with angel investors.
Creative Capital Gathering adds one essential layer to this work: a space where capital and creativity can begin building mutual literacy, trust, and new ways of thinking together.
The intention is for Creative Capital Gathering to become a recurring annual moment during ODDfest's Creative Week—a place where investors and creative leaders explore the evolving relationship between culture and capital, without predefined conclusions.
